Porcelain laminate veneers
Thin porcelain shells bonded to the tooth surface
Ultra-thin porcelain shells bonded to the tooth correct colour and shape at once.

A porcelain veneer is a ceramic shell 0.3-0.7 mm thick bonded to the front of the tooth. It corrects colour, shape and minor alignment within a single treatment plan.
Unlike a crown it covers only the visible face rather than the whole tooth, so most of the healthy structure stays where it is.
Who is it for?
- Discolouration whitening will not lift
- Chipped or worn front teeth
- Small gaps you want closed
How the treatment works
- 01
Planning
Impressions are taken and the target shade and shape agreed.
- 02
Preparation
Where needed, a minimal, controlled amount of enamel is reduced.
- 03
Try-in
A trial fitting lets you see the result in the mouth.
- 04
Bonding
Veneers are bonded permanently and the bite adjusted.
After your treatment
Do not bite hard objects with the front teeth. If you grind at night, a guard markedly extends the life of the veneers.
Frequently asked questions
Is it reversible?
If enamel has been reduced, the procedure is not reversible, which is why planning is given time. Veneers placed without any reduction can usually be removed.
Do veneers stain?
Porcelain stains far less than natural enamel. The bonding line can discolour over time, which regular cleaning prevents.
